Cambie Field Neighbourhood Off Leash Park
3651 Sexsmith Road Richmond, BC V6X 2H6 CA
Description

This little gem of a park is very well hidden.  It is right in central Richmond but since it is located out of sight at the end of little used brown road, almost nobody knows about it.  The official address of this park which is “3651 Se$smith Road“does not help at all. There are 2 entrances to this park. The main entrance is at the end of brown road. Turn north off of Cambie road (onto Brown road) 1 block east of Hazelbridge Way. There is an off leash dog sign and you can park on the street.  You can also gain access to this from the parking lot at the back of Union Square shopping plaza on Capstan Way. Look for the hole in the fence and slip in. There a sign warning the public that parking in the mall shopping lot is not allowed if you are going to the park. None of the local residents are even aware that there is a dog park located here and I saw no dogs at this park.

The park is completely enclosed by fence and the traffic sounds from the main roads is muffled by the raised embankment. This was the cleanest park that I have visited and it looks like nobody else ever comes to Cambie Field off leash Dog Park. A great place to take your dog if do want to be alone for a while.  The park itself is a grassy square patch that looks like it used to be a baseball field. There are some shrubs along the west side for you dog to explore in.  There are no other features to this park, but if are a resident of the area it is definitely worth visiting.
